A handy log for your career achievements
impactrackr: Brag Doc is a free productivity app designed to help you easily keep track of your personal work achievements. It lets you build and keep an updated “brag document” by giving you a convenient record of your wins and contributions.
When the time for a performance review or year-end evaluation comes, impactrackr: Brag Doc can come in handy. With this, you don’t have to deal with the difficulty of remembering everything you accomplished over the past months. It can be a crucial tool in taking the next step in your career.
Keeping track as you go
impactrackr: Brag Doc organizes your entries so you can keep different accomplishments in one place. You can also use tags to categorize different types of wins, such as the impact of your work or your personal growth. Since entries are searchable, it should be easier to find specific achievements later instead of trying to remember when or where you recorded them.
This is like a note-taking app that provides a convenient way to log achievements as they happen, whether you prefer typing them out or using your voice. Streaks can help you stay consistent, while progress tracking lets you see how you’re growing across different skills and goals. There’s also an Executive Overview dashboard where you can see everything at a glance, with privacy kept as a key focus.
Furthermore, the app can turn your records into a brief with suggested talking points for 1:1 conversations. However, the 1:1 brief feature, Performance Trends dashboard, and other advanced tools are only available with the premium version. The free version can still be useful for regularly recording your achievements, but users looking for more assistance with preparing for career conversations may need to upgrade.
Your work wins, all in one place
Overall, impactrackr: Brag Doc is worth checking out if you want an easier way to keep track of your work achievements. Logging your wins as they happen means you won’t have to rely on memory when performance reviews or career discussions come around. The free version covers the basics, although some of the more useful preparation features require a premium subscription.
